The course takes around 1 hour to complete
Fully Online Training
Overview of how it works for Organisations
Purchase the required number of Enrolment Keys to ensure all staff, including support staff, can be trained.
FAW Cornwall’s Training Manager will set up a group under the name of your organisation to manage these Enrolment Keys.
Nominate a person at your organisation to be your Training Manager.
We will give access to the group to your Training Manager so that they can send an individual Enrolment Key to each member of staff. To do this they will need the name and email of each person being trained. We will send the training manager an email template to use so that each trainee receives instruction on how to enroll.
Each trainee receives the invite from the training manager and follows the instructions on how to enroll and complete the course.
Your Training Manager will have access to overview the progress of each trainee, such as how far they have progressed and whether they have completed & passed the training.
FAW Cornwall’s Training Manager also has access, but will only do so at the request of your Training Manager. This can be helpful if your Training Manager has any questions or difficulties. Our Training Manager will give you full support in your role.
You can purchase extra Enrolment Keys at any time (no minimum order requirements). These will be added to your group and your Training Manager will be able to allocate them to the new trainees.
If required, you can also add Enrolment Keys for different types of courses to your group, such as; Annual Paediatric First Aid Update, Fire Marshal Training, Food Safety, and many more. These work exactly the same as the other Enrolment Keys and are distributed by your Manager, but if the trainee has already enrolled on a previous course they can simply log in and their course will be ready for them.

The course supports annual training requirements and reflects current Resuscitation Council UK guidance. The course includes demonstrations of key practical procedures, including CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course supports knowledge-based learning and should be complemented by practical training where required by local policy or employer requirements.
The course takes around 1 hour to complete, and you can pause and save your progress at any time to finish later.
Self-checks follow each section of the course and a final multiple-choice assessment concludes the online module.
