HSE recognised First Aid at Work course
3 days training for First Aid at Work, 2 days for First Aid at Work requalification, or 1 day for Emergency First Aid at Work
FAIB approved training structure and quality assurance for every training course
84 page first aid manual for every trainee (dedicated 52 page manual for Emergency First Aid at Work)
Fully interactive training
Practical hands-on training in CPR, AED’s, Abdominal Thrusts, Auto Adrenalin Injectors, Bandaging and much more
Individual Learning Plan for each trainee to ensure they reach their full potential
Additional free introduction to Mental Health First Aid (on First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work Requalification training courses)
At First Aid at Work Cornwall we only charge for the number of people we train, rather than a flat rate for our In-House training. Not only that, if on the first day of training your company has more or less trainees than originally booked we will simply invoice/refund the difference between the minimum of only 4 trainees to a maximum of 12. You won’t end up paying for someone that isn’t trained!
Pick your own date;
Save time going back and forth trying to find a mutually suitable date for your training. Simply check the calendar below, enter your chosen date/dates at the checkout when prompted, and we will turn up when you need us.
Training at your premises;
Please ensure you have suitable premises for teaching first aid. A suitable training room should,
Be a comfortable temperature and be reasonably quiet
Have enough space for each trainee to sit and listen to training and see the presentation (screen and projector is supplied by the instructor)
Have additional space where trainees can practice their skills which will include people lying down for unconscious patient training. If necessary, this could be conducted in a separate nearby room.
If you don’t have a suitable space, let us know and we can hire a nearby venue which we will charge to you at cost. Typically, these are available from £50-£100 per day. In this situation, please allow at least 3 weeks before your chosen course date to ensure a suitable and available venue can be found in time for your course.
