At First Aid at Work Cornwall our In-House courses are priced per person rather than a flat rate, and start from as few as 4 trainees so you don’t pay for empty spaces. We also have an 8 person price cap, so we can train up to 12 employees for the maximum price of only 8 giving you up to 4 free places on our courses. This is more clearly laid out in the table below. Prices exclude VAT but include expenses to any venue in Cornwall.

Emergency First Aid at Work, £85 per person excl. VAT (minimum 4 trainees). We can teach 12 trainees for only £680 excl. VAT with our Price Cap.

At First Aid at Work Cornwall we only charge for the number of people we train, rather than a flat rate for our In-House training. Not only that, if on the first day of training your company has more or less trainees than originally booked we will simply invoice/refund the difference between the minimum of only 4 trainees to a maximum of 12 (though you will only pay for a maximum of 8 trainees with our Price Cap). You won’t end up paying for someone that isn’t trained!
Pick your own date;
Save time going back and forth trying to find a mutually suitable date with us for your training. Simply check the calendar below, enter your chosen date/dates at the checkout when prompted, and we will turn up when you need us.
Training at your premises;
Please ensure you have suitable premises for teaching first aid. A suitable training room should,
Be a comfortable temperature and be reasonably quiet
Have enough space for each trainee to sit and listen to training and see the presentation (screen and projector is supplied by the instructor)
Have additional space where trainees can practice their skills which will include people lying down for unconscious patient training. If necessary, this could be conducted in a separate nearby room.
If you don’t have a suitable training space, please let us know and we can hire a nearby venue which we will charge to you at cost. Typically, these are available from £75-£150 per day. In this situation, please allow at least 3 weeks before your chosen course date to ensure a suitable, and available, venue can be found in time for your course.

Industry specific and company specific training;
All our courses include the HSE required content and FAIB approved material. However, within this we have the scope to add extra emphasis on the injuries and scenarios more likely to occur in your industry. Additionally, we incorporate and reinforce you own company policies and procedures such as; accountability for dressing in the food industry, illnesses where staff should not attend work for safety reasons or procedures for administering first aid to members of the public. If you don’t have some of these in place already and wish to add them, we will work with and advise your first aid trainees for free as part of their training and together develop a workable policy for your particular organisation’s structure.
